Stirling Councillors gagged

See  this week’s Stirling Times (30th of May 2017) on page 5,  Mayor in favour of free speech -McKenna wont gag Councillors.

Note, According to the City of Stirling’s CEO, Stuart Jardine, Councillors and employees have “a legal duty to fidelity to act in the best interest of the council and City”.  Surely, this also means letting the public know if things aren’t right?  In other words, Councillors are only allowed to say nice things about the City he manages.

Also see our previous post Bully claim a ‘plot’ , for more about how the City of Stirling tries to gag Councillors.
